ClackCo Concierge Consulting is proud to work with ZRT Laboratories to offer comprehensive, minimally invasive testing options to provide a complete medical profile for each of our patients.
Have you ever wondered about how your hormones correlate to physical symptoms? Saliva testing, even when quantities are minute, are capable of providing a profile that helps to determine over- or under-production of certain hormones. ZRT Laboratories allows us to assess hormonal profiles of steroid hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA-S, and cortisol.
Dried Blood Spot Testing
Sometimes, medications and supplements are eliminated via bodily secretions, including saliva. Unfortunately, this can alter test results from saliva samples. Additionally, saliva testing cannot detect certain hormone levels, including thyroid, blood lipids, or insulin.
To avoid misleading results and to offer a more complete profile, ZRT Laboratories also offers blood spot testing. With no more than a minimal pinprick (similar to the iron test during blood donations), a comprehensive patient profile can be assessed.
Dried Urine Testing
Traditional urine profiles require patients to collect each specimen s/he eliminates for 24 hours. Let that sink in. ZRT Laboratories’ technology of dried urine testing uses the same process as the dried blood spot testing. Utilizing the same filter-card collection method, patients can obtain accurate results for hormone and toxins levels. Dried urine testing accurately measures iodine, bromine, arsenic, selenium, cadmium, mercury, and creatinine levels.
How ClackCo Utilizes Testing Results
Think of your results as a health report card. ZRT Laboratories’ test results provide us an accurate, very specific assessment of your health. Once we obtain the results from your ZRT tests, ClackCo works with you and your healthcare provider to treat you as a whole person, as opposed to simply bandaging symptoms. We do this in a variety of ways, including dietary and wellness assessments, supplements, bioidentical hormone therapies, and other preventative treatment options.
